Massodermie - Home
The lesion caused by a burn is responsible for a change in the skin's connective tissue that becomes adherent afterwards, less mobilized and causes mechanic and aesthetic problems. The tissue becomes fibrous, collagen densifies and elastin disappears.

Repeated care can improve the quality and aspect of traumatized tissues. Measured air aspiration combined with palpate roll technique becomes an excellent complement to the manual dermatological massage and this, as soon as cicatrization occurs. Delicate areas are respected and drained from the stasis; later, a more energetic treatment will allow suppleness of thick, indurate or adherent areas.
